Demiguise Moon Mania: Unlocking Hogwarts’ Secrets

In the enchanting world of Hogwarts Legacy, players embark on a magical journey filled with spells, potions, and fantastical creatures. One captivating aspect of the game is the hunt for Demiguise Moons. These hidden moon-shaped objects are essential for upgrading your Alohomora spell, allowing you to unlock higher-level doors and uncover valuable secrets throughout the castle and its grounds.

This comprehensive guide empowers you to become a master Demiguise Moon hunter, pinpointing their locations and offering helpful tips for acquisition.

The Demiguise Statue Conundrum

The Demiguise Moons aren’t simply scattered around Hogwarts; they’re cleverly concealed near Demiguise Statues. These peculiar statues depict furry, monkey-like creatures holding a moon in their outstretched hands.  Here’s the catch: the moons themselves are invisible until you cast Lumos –  the spell that illuminates your surroundings.

Once you cast Lumos near a Demiguise Statue, the hidden moon will become visible, allowing you to collect it.  But beware, some of these statues are cleverly hidden or require you to solve puzzles to access them.

Unlocking the Moons: A Region-by-Region Breakdown

Hogwarts Legacy is divided into distinct regions: Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade, and the surrounding Highlands. Here’s a detailed breakdown of Demiguise Moon locations within each region:

Hogwarts Castle:

Great Hall: Travel to the Great Hall Floo Flame and proceed across the hall towards the lectern. Turn right, and you’ll find a locked door along the wall. Use Alohomora (Level 1) to unlock it, revealing a Demiguise Statue and its hidden moon.

Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower:  Make your way to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower Floo Flame. Ascend the stairs and locate a locked door on the upper floor (Level 1 Alohomora).  Behind this door lies a Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon.

Hogsmeade:

Honeydukes Basement:  Head to Honeydukes sweet shop in Hogsmeade.  Behind the shop, you’ll find two small houses.  Enter the house on the north side, which requires Level 1 Alohomora to unlock. Inside, you’ll find a Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon.

Northern River’s Edge:  Travel to the northernmost part of Hogsmeade along the riverbank. Seek out a lone building across from the animal store Brood and Peck.  This house requires Level 1 Alohomora to unlock. Inside, you’ll find a Demiguise Statue holding a hidden moon.

East Hogsmeade:  Fast travel to the East Hogsmeade Floo Flame. Run behind Honeydukes to find two small houses.  Approach the house on the north side and use Alohomora (Level 1) to unlock the door.  A Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon awaits you inside.

The Highlands:

Lower Hogsfield:  Travel to the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame.  As you exit, look for a small ruined building on the left side.  Cast Lumos near the building to reveal a Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon.

Keenbridge:  Make your way to the Keenbridge Floo Flame.  Exit and head towards the bridge.  As you cross the bridge, look down at the water stream on your right.  You’ll see a hidden cave entrance.  Cast Lumos inside the cave to reveal a Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon.

Brocburrow:  Travel to the Brocburrow Floo Flame.  Exit and head northeast towards the large ruined building.  Look for a hidden passage on the eastern side of the building.  Use Revelio to reveal the entrance and cast Lumos inside to find a Demiguise Statue with a hidden moon.
