However, with live chat capabilities, this has been cut down. Now, there are often chatbots that will answer messages in the first instance. This means getting an instant response from the get-go. These can be annoying though, especially if the chatbot doesn’t understand the question and keeps circling around. However, it’s typically very easy to get passed on to a real agent and therefore still have a query seen to in under five minutes.
All this is already in place, but it’s likely to keep increasing in pace. These days, it’s all about instant gratification. Most eCommerce platforms have recognised this and do their best to provide everything as speedily as possible, from support to actual deliveries.
